First stop Duane and Bee's house. This was the first time Kai and Daila actually knocked on a door and said their much rehearsed "Trick or Treat!" Of course Bee had special treat bags already prepared for them. We are lucky to have such great neighbors!

Kai was a little hesitant at first about this whole costume thing, but once he saw some of the other kids he was so excited about it. By the end of the night he didn't want to take it off.

This is Donovan a.k.a. Richard Simmons. We see he and his parents out and about all the time, usually at the tot lot. I think he was the most creative costume we saw all night!

Our neighborhood is so kid friendly and we are loving it more and more all the time. It's basically broken down into cul-de-sacs of about 7 houses each and it's really fun because some of them get really into it for holidays. This one built a "Maze of Mayhem" scary structure. Kai and Daila didn't go in... maybe in a couple years they'll be ready.

Pocahontas loved chatting with them on their first trick or treat. And they loved that she gave them suckers!
Kai with chocolate all over his face looking for more candy. I think they ingested sugar for 4 hours straight. They thought every time they got more they were suppose to eat it right then. By the end of the night their wagon was a mess of candy, mostly opened and half eaten!
Daila met a fellow tinkerbell. They were both really shy towards each other early in the night, but when she and her parents came by our house towards the end of the night they were starting to have fun.
Daila completely sugared up at the end of the night trying to get back in the wagon. I think she wanted to do it all over again!
