The baby bears are 5!!

Happy Birthday Kai and Daila! 5 years have flown by. We took all the advice about really holding onto and enjoying every moment, and if their is one thing we're thankful for is that we've been lucky enough to really get to spend more time than a lot of parents in these early years. We've honestly enjoyed every second, not that they have all been easy and graceful, but each moment since they have been born is one that I wouldn't trade for all the time in my life before they were in it. We are amazed constantly by how lucky and blessed we are to have been chosen to be their parents!

They were so surprised to see a pony at their party! They rode around the yard until the sun went down!

Celebrating Team Shabba!

Love this photo and with my dad in the background. We were so lucky to get to have mimi and papa visiting from Ohio for their birthday!

Best day ever!

Happy Halloween 2013

Daila went as a garden fairy and Kai as a stealth ninja. They had so much fun at their schools Halloween parade and then trick or treating with their friends Michael James and Jonathan later that night. We love Halloween!

First Day of School!

The kids first school morning at Red Hill Elementary. They are in Transitional Kindergarten and love it! They will start Kindergarten next year but were able to get into TK because of their birthday being in November. We lucked out because only kids who's birthdays fall between Oct. 2 and Dec. 2nd are able to go. They love their teacher Miss Sutton and their classmates!

Daila had to get a mani/pedi before the school year started. She loves going to the salon, such a girly girl!

Capri weekend 2013

We try and get to Laguna at least for 1 weekend out of each summer. I think we've made it every year so far since the kids have been born. This is the first beach they were ever on, at 10 days old! And it was the beach we were married at in 2007. We always stay at the Capri Laguna, where we had our wedding. This year was special because from what we're told the hotel is now under new management and they have major plans to renovate this winter. My mom and dad always stay here when they visit too, and were here for 6 weeks when Kai and Daila were born!

It will always be a special place to our hearts and the kids know this too. It's so great to have a place like this to come to every year. No matter what they ever turn it into it will always be our "reset button"!

Pumpkin Patch!

Photo's from October 2012. The Pumpkin Patch is one of their favorite "holiday" places. And yes, the photos are 5 months late but better late than never! And I'm trying to get caught up in time to post photos from the recent big news... a new house!

Kai could have used a haircut before this, but they're still just so cute in the middle of the pumpkin patch.

They were so excited to get to sit in the front of the train!

 Happy boy :)

Daila LOVED this goat. She would still be sitting there now feeding it if we let her :)

Catching up from fall 2012 till now...

A favorite hot day activity, washing mommies car!

Billy got me a whole car washing kit last summer because this is one of our favorite things to do. The kids love taking turns with the water blaster.

Kai, hot and not minding getting ambushed by Daila :)

Last summer we hosted a couple neighborhood movie nights. Kai and Daila LOVE getting to host everyone at our house.

We managed to fill the sand union vase from our wedding. Five years baby! Cheers to the good the bad and the ugly :) Here's to 55 more. Now we need to find a new vase.

Well, the combination of me being really behind on posts, and Blogger always changing they're uploading format has made me really drop the ball on posting some good photos from the last few months. So I'm posting whatever I can whenever it will "let me" :) So many good times and the kids have sprouted both physically and mentally since starting school in the fall. Life has been fast and fun, that's for sure!
