Kai and Daila before our "boys and girls" day. While Daila and I went to the Nutcracker Kai and Billy went to Jumpin' Jammin' and then bowling. Kai was passed out by the time we got home, so I know he had a full and fun day with daddy!
Christmas eve dinner!
We've started another tradition of doing a "Christmas Cruise" through our neighborhood to see the Christmas lights. We also bring hot chocolate and play Christmas carols on the radio. The kids love it. As soon as we got home they put out the cookies for Santa and carrots for the reindeer. After seeing all the lights and tracking Santa on the Internet they were so excited to go to sleep!
We didn't get many Christmas morning photos, but of course we had to document Lightbright!
Santa brought Kai a bunch of games! Note to self... hold off on the small pieces games until they're a little bit older :)
For New Years we went to the RSM festival again. They loved the bands and this year were able to play on the bigger kid bouncy houses. So much fun!

The deal was Kai had to always go behind Daila for every climb in case she couldn't make it to the top by herself. Kai took this task very seriously. They're just so cute together :) Happy New Year!
Santa Sighting 2011
We got a nutcracker night light (that is just out of frame) and they loved it so much we had to build a fort around it so they could look at it in the dark.

Daila and I went to see the Nutcracker and had so much fun. How lucky a little girl to even get to meet the Prima Ballerina... the very first time! Daila loved and i'm pretty sure we'll be making this a tradition :)
