It's so delicious!

The comments that have been coming out of their mouths lately have kept Billy and I laughing constantly. I don't know where they pick some of these things up...

"It's so deLISHous!" they say this everytime they eat something they love, usually involving icecream or yogurt.

"Hmmm, this is not quite right" mostly daila say's this, usually when trying to put together a puzzle. I've also heard her say it when she's eating and gets a fork or spoonful of food that's too much. She'll dump it back on her plate, and start over. Good girl!

"Mommy, let's go take a look" again usually Daila says this. The first time she said it she grabbed my hand and lead me upstairs and to her dresser. She apparently was not pleased with what she was wearing and needed a new outfit. :)

"Rock and ROLL!" Kai dances with his golf clubs all over the house using them as guitars and yells this. Pretty much all day long. He's also still very into the chanting, kind of like he's rapping.

Still my favorite is when they stop what their doing throughout the day to announce to me that they're "Best friends". And many times they'll even follow it up with a hug. especially Kai, he's such a cuddle bear. He'll walk up to daila and just say "hugs" or "kisses". It just melts my heart everytime :)

Daddys forts.

Billy and I love being parents. Now that Kai and Daila are getting into toddler things it's been more fun than ever. There's no mistake that one of things that brought Billy and I together is that we both really, REALLY love to play (we met skateboarding!) So now that our parenting can involve helping them build forts, make rocketships outside and dream up whatever else 2 toddler little minds can come up with, you know we're all about it! Last night Billy built them one of the many forts they love to play in before bedtime. Complete with a tunnel, and christmas lights!

Dana Point "Festival of the Whales" Parade

Every year the city of Dana Point has a festival of the whales event to kick off the seasonal whale migration. It was a beautiful day today so we decided to go down and check it out. It was Kai and Daila's first parade and of course they loved it. We found a spot near the end of the parade and after all of the different marching bands and big balloons were done they would cut through an alley near where we sat. Well Kai kept trying to chase them all down, he said he wanted to go say "hi" to all of them. So funny. So while Daila sat with Billy on the curb I spent lots of time chasing Kai down on all of his "investigating missions" to see where all of these parade marchers were going! We then watched an all girl band ranging in age 6-12 and Kai and Daila danced their butts off... They definitely love to party :)

More super-cuteness...

Daila decided to squeeze this baby-size lions costume hat on... It was really funny, and she knew it :)

On this morning she refuse to come downstairs until she was able to put a skirt on over her jammies, and a scarf of course.

Kai boy LOVES his hugs!

Mama, Daidai, Kai couch time.
