Oh funny times :)

It has been dancemania in our house lately like never before!

Kai is the funniest boy we know, he LOVES to make you laugh.

Daila INSISTED on wearing these sunglasses for breakfast the other day. Now, there are actually 4 pair of sunglasses in different colors, and these are the only yellow pajamas she owns. Do you think she really knew she had to match them together? Well I probably wouldn't if I hadn't been there myself to witness it!

Oh silly babies, just one funny moment after another!

Now we're talkin'!

Such a handsome boy!

And a cool handsome boy at that!

Daila Sue loves the new couch.

She's very into relaxing on the couch too :)

And of course giving it the jump test!
Over the last couple months the goo goo's and ga ga's have slowly but surely been transforming into words. Mama and Dada were the first and from there they've each taken on their own vocabulary favorites. So far:
Kai:
Mama
Dada
Hi Dada! - he loves to yell this at the top of his lungs all day :)
Oh Sh!t - sadly we think he picked this up from always hearing me say this while rushing towards him constsantly trying to keep him from commiting suicide!
What's this?- He learned this from Daila
Uh-Oh!- he says this evertime his binky falls on the floor
Kitty Cat
Shoes
Ball
GumGum- this may have been his first actual word, meaning yummy!
Daila:
Mama
Dada
Okay!-she says this everytime as if she's had some kind of epiphany... it has such a sweet Daila ring to it :)
What's this?- she's soooo inquisitive
Shoes
Baby
Kitty Cat
No
Woof Woof- she knows the dog sound on the v-tech!
I'm sure there are a few more i'm forgetting. They both want to talk soooo bad and are trying desperately to figure out how! When we read the ABC book now the both start trying to sing the ABC song, I think they might have the "A" part down :) And to hear them talk to each other is just priceless, they can ramble on for sometimes 20 minutes at a time in there special language. Daila likes to keep a constant and consistant low, sweet rhythm, while Kai speaks VERY boisterously and spiratic, and usual follows it up with a hearty chuckle, so whatever he was talking about must have been funny because Daila usually throws in a little giggle too!

Happy Easter!

Kai and Daila digging through their first Easter baskets. The Easter bunny found us all the way in a hotel in San Pedro!

Easter morning cuties..:)

Gotta have the Peeps!

This was by far Kai and Daila's favorite spot in the hotel room. The love looking out the window and playing with the air conditioner controls. Daila just loved to stand in from of it and blast it on high in her face.

Now on to the wall with the mirror. Fun for hours!

A friend of ours left this hat in our room and it didn't take long for Daila to find this new accessory. Here she is seeing how it looks on her.

Now she wants to see how it looks on Kai. He was clearly not a fan of her
"dress up" antics!

We got to Pamela and Stevens in the early afternoon, just in time for the earthquake to roll through! It was a 7.2 and the epicenter was in Baja California about 2 hours away. We all just stood in the window and watched a huge wave of water roll through the pool and into the garage! 10 minutes later Daila was back to her usual self :)

Silly Boy Kai, always the life of the party. Never a dull moment!

Daila mesmerized by bubbles.

Easter weekend was about as action packed as it can get for us this year. Our annual SPB convention was hosted in San Pedro this year which was great meaning we could go and bring the babies! It was fun but exhausting to say the least. The best part was that so many of our friends from around the country got to meet them. We took them to the dinner on Saturday night and being the only kids there kept a crowd of about 100 entertained for a good part of the evening! The next day we went down to the Channel Street skatepark and then on to Pamela and Stevens for a family easter dinner. We enjoyed the "last supper" in their old dining room as the remodel for their home is underway this week. Kai and Daila had so much fun eating dinner with us like big kids. They are the best eaters ands are always up for new things. Auntie Pamela is an amazing cook anyways, it's always a treat for everyone!
